PREVIOUS NOTES
The pattern is a crop top design, with a top-down construction, so the amount of thread is calculated for the written length, but don't be afraid if you feels that it's too short, starting at the neckline you can always make longer. Anyway, my advice, regardless of the length chosen, is that you try to complete rounds 3 to 11 of diagram A.2.
Likewise, you can knit or not the waist decreases, personally I think it gives your special touch to the design, but if you prefer to leave the sweater with a straight body, don't do them.
