Level:
(Beginner) To knit this cardigan, you only need to know how to knit and purl, as well as make increases and simple decreases.
The entire cardigan is worked using a simple stripe pattern of 6 rows with boucle yarn and 2 rows with double-stranded Eclipse yarn.
Pattern Description:
The Lizzy cardigan is a top-down pattern. It starts with the back, working to complete the yoke. For the fronts, stitches are picked up along the edge and worked separately until they are the same length as the back. Once all three sections are ready, they are joined to work the body in one piece.
For the sleeves, stitches are picked up along the armholes and worked in the round to the desired length.
Finally, stitches are picked up for the bands and knitted in ribbing, as is done for the neckband.
